Moring & Eddie wedding day

On Sunday 25th of October was Moring and Eddie's big day.

She started with the make-up

Together with the bridesmaids...

and then she waited for Eddie to arrive...

Eddie was only allowed to enter the room after a special dance move performed by all the groomsmen....

Reflections...

The Rolleiflex shot of course :-)

The bridesmaids were a lot of fun to be with...

Then we all went to the Agora garden hotel for the reception, and they made their entrance...

cheered with everybody!

Moring with a beautiful dress and a beautiful look!

And everybody was happy, well almost everybody...

It was great to be there, got to take a lot of photos and meet with Ben again, and so together we got Moring and Eddie's wedding covered from every angle :-) they're going to need some more hard drive space at home soon :-)

it's a small world...

Have a nice day!

Love finds its way...

This is Cecilia...and the very first photo I took on that day.

And this is Jason, posing together in a very nice restaurant in Yamin mountain.

Smile, it always works!!!

Jason wasn't so keen at first to have his photo taken, but he relaxed and then again i didn't ask him to pose, I just snapped away while he was smiling away.

Over the years I have use the internet a lot, and found a lot of info, music, movies and so on there, very useful place indeed. But it's nothing compare to what Cecilia and Jason have found there: they found each other, they found love...

High-key portrait.

Mixing lighting, both window and tungsten lights compose this shot, the rest is a nice sofa and a beautiful bride.

And what to do when the weather is bad ? Well keep taking photos... adaptability is the key

Back in the studio.

Standing tall.

New-York style!!!

Have a nice week-end, find love and come take wedding photos....you will see it's a lot of fun :-)

Nico

I just realised i didn't post my Rolleiflex shot ! you will have to wait untill monday for that!

Jasmine & Raymon

It was a fun day, got to shoot a lot and spend the whole day with Jasmine and Raymon around Taipei, so here it goes:

First a portrait of Jasmine.

Then into the studio...

Raymon was very keen on having his photo take, glad to oblige :-)

You could think it's a studio shoot but actually it's the place where they bought their ring

Me without my Rolleiflex ? Like a fish without water...

A very nice park in Banciao.

Late afternoon light and a smile is all you need for a great photo :-)

The colour of passion.
We got a little delayed and it was my fault I have t admit (let's not blame my assistant Ben for once ;-) !! ) and so we shot the red dress at night, and I'm very happy we did !!!!

Night shot on the rooftop!

And my favourite of the day!

Have a nice day, and go propose to your girlfriend! if you're married you can still propose a diner ;-)

Celine & Alex

Classic Camera and classic rings...

Celine and Alex took me to Longshan temple, an unusual place for a white gown, but it did work out great!!!

And another one.

They did try to look serious sometimes...

...but it didn't always worked!!

What is important to me is people, the dress, the location come after, keep it simple !

Alex

A different look!

This is what all this is all about : Love

Back in the studio.

A beautiful bride in a beautiful dress, it always makes a great photo.

Have a nice day,

Nico

Yayun & Chuck

This is Yayun and the very first photo I took on that day...

They took me to a very nice cafe up in the mountain overlooking Taipei.

A perfect location for this beautiful dress.

My Rolleiflex in "hearts on fire"

A tender pose...
and one with attitude!

Together.

Chuck looking good!

Classy.

Now who's a movie star ?!

Night shot one...
and night shot two!

It was a lot of fun and I got to try a lot of different lighting, so thanks to Yayun and Chuck for being great models to work with.

Have a nice day,

Nico

Having fun...

Hueyun & Lanny in my Rolleiflex...

They are a very sweet couple, and even though they were first a little nervous they quickly relaxed as you can see...

Honest, direct and simple portrait.

Together close and in B&W

A new background we have, perfect in that case for Hueyun's dress.

Of course a kiss!

The pavement provided a nice background.

Trying something different, keeping a "studio" look to it.

You see I never count to three, there are many reasons for that, one is that I'm too busy shooting, by the time you count to three I have already taken three photos, hey! I'm working here :-) another reason is that I love natural shots and you don't get people looking natural by counting to three...
I also like movement in my photos, so here comes the movement...

...and it was a little too much movement for Hueyun who started to feel dizzy and started to laught out loud, Ben my assistant is in the background.

Again keeping the theme of "studio look"

Another kiss, apparently I tend to say "what about a kiss?" quite often :-)

Hueyun and Amy our stylist having fun.

Nightscape.

One of my favourite shot of the day!

Have fun, go and take photos,

Nico

Happiness...

This is Felicia, in a gorgeous retro style so I made the photo look the same way.

Together with Andrew.

They came especially from Hong-Kong for the shooting, a friend of them Rita recommended us, so thanks Rita :-)

in black and white.

Andrew alone!

In between columns...

A variant of the flying dress inside my Rolleiflex!

Just chatting...

just beautiful!

kind of dancing together...

The dress offered a great background for this portrait.

My Rolleiflex in the middle.

In the evening we went for a more "fashion" look!

Playing with lights...

It was a real pleasure to take those photos and an honour to be recommended by previous customers. So thank you Felicia and Andrew for your patience and energy during the shoot and thanks to Rita for sending them here !

Have a nice day!
